So, based on the category I chose to put this post in you can probably guess that I am one of the many people who play "World of Warcraft," a MMORPG developed by Blizzard Entertainment. I love this game, as it provides a wonderful diversion from the stresses of life. There are however, times that I'd like to take the game, wrap it in mageweave and set it on fire! Allow me to explain... In "WoW" the currency system is comprised of three elements; copper, silver, and gold. 100 copper =...

Ignorant people should be relegated to their own island! That is all I have to say about that. ~Melchiah

I see the RSS box at the top right of the screen and when I click on it I am directed to a page with a bunch of XML (I think that's what it is). I am in the process of developing a new personal website and would like to use my blog's RSS feed on that site, but I don't know how. What exactly do I do with that page of XML I'm directed to when I click that button (if anything)? ~Melchiah

In the article I posted prior to this one I talked about a problem I was having getting a PHP clock system to work properly. After that post I submitted a help request to a PHP group I belong to. One of the users in the group suggested it might be easier, and make more sense, if I used Javascript to accomplish this task instead of PHP.I've since switched to the Javascript code I found and am again requesting that any of you reading this follow the link below and tell me if the page displays...

I'd appreciate it if those of you reading this post would follow the link below and tell me what's on the page. Date/Time Script It's a PHP script that's supposed to display the date and time in *your* locality. I need to know if it's working properly and I can't do that since the server I use is my own, therefore I don't have a time difference between my laptop and my server. Thank you ~Melchiah

What's up with JoeUser lately? The pages are loading so slowly for me, if at all. I'm going to do some tests on my connection to make sure the problem isn't on my end. I'd appreciate it if someone who knows what's wrong with JoeUser (If it's not my connection) would reply to this and let me know... Thanks, ~Melchiah

Earlier this afternoon I was sitting in my room when I heard the doorbell ring. When I opened the door there was someone standing there that I'd never seen before. He stopped to inform me that one of our cars' headlights were left on. It's nice to know that there are nice people still around who are willing to go out of their way to help someone. To that man I say thank you, whoever you are. ~Melchiah

I'm a student at a technical university and last year I decided the program I was in wasn't for me so I switched to electrical engineering. Well, I made that decision in the middle of a term which meant dropping out until I could enroll into the other program. Since I left mid-term the company that owns my student loans pulls the funding for the entire quarter. So that means I owe the school for the first part of the term that I attended. When I went back to enroll into the new progr...

Let me see here, in the past few days I've managed to complete a whole lot of not much. The problem is though, I've started a bunch of stuff...just haven't finished it. In the past few days I've done the following (all of it remains to be finished): 1. Reinstalled Diablo II LoD and a Mod for it. (Play it frequently...but don't finish the story, I start new characters part way through...) 2. Installed an Apache Server, set it up and acquired some documentation to learn PHP. I've ye...

I haven't posted in a few days and I don't know why. I haven't been too busy, just not interested I guess. The only things I've done lately is go shopping and hang out with Bryan. Oh, and I went to my appointment for college. Turns out my financial aid guy didn't know what he was talking about last September when he told me I could return to school this December without any problems. He neglected to tell me that due to my leaving mid-term, my loan term wouldn't be reset for the next term ...

I haven't been up to much the past few days aside from Dead-Bird day with the family. The one productive thing I've been working on is trying to find my photo paper so I can print some pictures for my brother. Since I can't send him anything other than paper based items I figured updated pictures of the family would be a nice birthday gift. Especially since he hasn't seen any of us in over 6 years. I found out that friend of mine I mentioned in a previous article, the one I found after years...

For some strange reason I went to bed at 7:00 PM last night, it's now 3:53 AM MST and I just woke up. I hate waking up, I always feel strange for an hour or so after I wake up. My orientation and sense of balance is screwy and my face swells when I sleep. I've been told that everyone's face swells a little when we sleep but I think mine does it to a more severe extent, or at least it feels like it anyway. Any, for something more relevant; my sister found a house for her family. Yay! Due ...

I just love it when a nice surprise presents itself. Earlier this week I was doing some "out-with-the-old" file system cleaning on one of my HDs when I ran into an old text file that contained a web address for a modeling agency an old friend of mine used to be involved with. I haven't seen this friend of mine in a very long time (Years) and it really bothered me, she was my closest friend for quite some time. So, I check out the link and the site is still running, that's good. So I look...

"Reply By: Dark-Star Posted: Monday, November 24, 2003 Hello Melchiah, Sorry for the inconvenience. JoeUser is undergoing some major changes and we have come across a few bugs (like the one you have discovered) in the process. We will be correcting this issue and several others over the course of the next few days. Thank you for your patients in this regard. Happy Blogging, Dark-Star" This was posted as a comment in reference to my article "Joe's Odd Behavior" which can be viewed...

So I'm experimenting with the "Favorites" panel on the right hand side of the page by adding custom links to it. First I created a subheading called "My Website" and added two links under it called "Main Page" and "Artwork." Then I added another subheading called "My Friends" and added the link to a blog owned by a friend of mine. After doing that my Favorites panel only lists the "My Friends" subheading and the "My Website" subheading is gone. Why? Am I only allowed to have one subheading ...
